Profile:Moggy worked as a professional photographer for over ten years in London; then spent nearly seven years based in the Isle of Man during which time she still maintained a studio in London. Now living in Suffolk she will shortly open a studio in Ipswich, and still has facilities to shoot in London. Moggy has shot subjects ranging from still life, flowers and interiors to people and animals, both on location and in studio sets. My photography is notable for its precision, tactile qualities and deft touches of visual humour. Moggy usually has serious creative input on projects, often helping with the original concepts, and can turn a very ordinary product into something very special. From her studios she can organise shoots from prop sourcing through to set building and styling, often art directing her own work. Regular clients have grown used to her ability to conceptualise a shoot without a formal brief and appreciate the benefits of her innovative creative talent and formidable attention to detail. VISITING LECTURING : For three years I made trips lasting three days at a time to Swansea University and undertook classes with students teaching them about lighting, camerawork, and conceptual interpretation; fulfilling a brief (usually set by me) , cropping ; composition ; putting work into series ; choosing work for final shows ; aiding students with their final shows. I also did a one day course at Blackpool College of Art.
Moggy also has shot many weddings, giving her clients a beuatiful memory of their special day capturing the real spirit of the event and those moments which bring the images to life.
Moggy runs photospace and the Basement Gallery in Ipswich. Both are fantatsic facilities for professionals and keen non-professionals alike where all can learn and create photography and digital art.
